D.R.U.G.S.

Craig Owens decided to rejoin Chiodos, a video on the band’s website confirmed this

After news of Craig’s involvement with Chiodos, the remaining members Matt Good, Nick Martin, and Aaron Stern left the band.
The guys posted this message in their departure…

After much thought and consideration we (Matt Good, Nick Martin and Aaron Stern) have decided to announce that we will be moving on from D.R.U.G.S. This decision has not been easy to make, and we want to express how grateful we are for all of you who have supported us and made this the incredible experience it has been over the past couple of years. We’ll always look back on our time in this band with pride, and have no regrets about the music we’ve made or the people we’ve made it with. We want to thank everyone who has believed in us, and we hope you’ll keep believing in us. We look forward to the future, and we know we’ll be seeing you again soon, no matter where our paths lead next.

I wish Nick, Aaron & Matt the best of luck in moving forward, in whatever it is that they decide to do. They are all very talented individuals and I have no doubt that they will succeed no matter what it is they choose to do next. They stood next to me during one of the most difficult times in my life and I will never be able to thank them enough for what it is that they did for me. I wish them the best of luck and I hope, most of all, that they continue to make music. They’re extremely talented and professional musicians and music fans should be treated to their talents for many years to come.

As for the future of DRUGS… I obviously have a few things to figure out as this was a completely unexpected turn of events. I will let you, the fans, know what the future holds for Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows soon.

Most of all, I will never be able to thank each and everyone of YOU! For standing behind me when I get knocked down, for sticking with me during one of the hardest moments in my life, for always being there by my side while I figure out my personal problems, and most importantly for always being there for me, no matter what the circumstance. I owe all of you more then I’ll ever be able to give back in the form of music, or a blog… but I can promise you one thing, and that is… I WILL NEVER STOP being there for you, as you have always been there for me, that I can promise you..

Fans were hoping the former members would keep the band alive but Matt Good revealed that they could not be a band without Craig, as it states in their contracts.

Finally Matt Good opened up more about the departure and collapse of the band…

A lot of the stuff going on was confusing. It’s going to become one of those, “he said, he said” type things. Mostly, all I want people to know is that based off the information that was given to us and everything that was going on, it seemed like what we did was the best decision to make at that moment. There might be some people who might never understand, but I feel like for me to go into details would be too personal. People take what they want out of what I say anyways. I’m really trying to avoid anything that can start any sort of conflict because I don’t want it to. People are reading between the lines of everything I’m saying. There’s no bad blood and I’m not trying to start fights. We believed we needed to leave and it made sense to us.

In short, D.R.U.G.S. is done and Chiodos is back and better than ever. Craig Owens never fails to stir shit up.
